Time: 10:00 p.m. ET

The Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks meet head-to-head in Summer League action on Saturday night. The Lakers are coming off a 102-94 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday in which they shot 47.2% from three-point range. Cole Swider led the way with 21 points and 6 rebounds.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks couldn't take care of business against the Milwaukee Bucks and lost by a score of 100-89. Jerrick Harding put together another solid game off the bench (16 points), but it was Moses Wright that stole the show. He poured in 28 points, logged 11 rebounds and dished out 3 assists.

Total: 171.5 — Over: (-110) | Under: (-110)

The Lakers enter this contest as a slight favorite on the moneyline and spread. This 10 p.m. ET clash also features the third-highest total of Saturday's nine-game slate.

Lakers vs Mavericks Prediction & Pick

Nine different players drained a three-pointer in the Lakers win on Friday and 24 assists were racked up on 38 made buckets. That just screams team basketball. A bounce back night from undrafted rookie Scottie Pippen Jr. (4-for-12 shooting) would go a long way in securing a victory for LA here.

Dallas just cannot get over the hump and into the win column in Las Vegas. There's an obvious reason why, too. The Mavericks posted 18 turnovers on Thursday and tallied 39 personal fouls. Continually sending the opponent to the free throw line is going to do nothing but decrease any chance at winning.

I'll keep fading Dallas here and back the Lakers to cover the -1.5 spread (-118).
