Given both of those similar circumstances, I expect the Garden crowd to give the Knicks that extra jolt out of the gate. The Knicks have been fantastic to open games this season, but closing them out has been an entirely different story.

The Knicks should get out to an early lead and have control of much of the game, but expect the Jazz to make second-half adjustments and bring this one close before losing, but covering the spread.

The Jazz traded away their veteran point guard Mike Conley at the deadline in a huge deal, bringing them back more draft assets, but this leaves them without an experienced defender on Jalen Brunson. The Knicks' star guard has been absolutely insane of late. Since January 2, Brunson has averaged almost 29 points per game (28.8). That average gets bumped up to almost 31 points per game over his last five contests (30.8).

I'll take Brunson to continue this hot streak tonight against a young Jazz team now without their veteran floor general on the floor or in the locker room.
