Kliff Kingsbury Discusses Severity of DeAndre Hopkins' Hamstring Injury

Updated:

After missing the first six games of the season because of a PED suspension, DeAndre Hopkins came back and picked up right where he left off, looking like one of the best receivers in the NFL.

DeAndre Hopkins Injury Update

With just under 400 yards and 2 touchdowns, Hopkins was instantly once again the weapon the Arizona Cardinals offense was missing. Hopkins entered this week dealing with a hamstring injury, and while there has been speculation around his Week11 status, head acohc Kliff Kingsbury doesn't seem to bothered by it and sees the injury as a "maintenance deal."

With both starting quarterback Kyler Murray and backup Colt McCoy still questionable for Week 11, Hopkins will be more important than ever. The Cardinals play on Monday Night Football so they will have an extra day to make sure Hopkins and others can get as healthy as possible.

The Cardinals are currently 8.5-point home underdogs against the 49ers in Week 11, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
