Week 4 of the 2022 NCAA college football season includes a showdown between the Kent State Golden Flashes and No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs. Kent State is riding high after defeating Long Island University last weekend by a score of 63-10. The Golden Flashes recorded 5 rushing touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Georgia took down South Carolina, 48-7, in their third straight victory of at least 33 points. Quarterback Stetson Bennett looked unstoppable as he completed 16 of his 23 pass attempts for 284 yards and 2 touchdowns. The former walk-on added 36 yards and 1 touchdown on 3 carries, too.

Kent State vs Georgia Prediction & Pick
There's already been a few unbelievable upsets in college football this season, but picking against the Bulldogs would be dumb at this point. Head coach Kirby Smart has his team motivated to perform with the thought of winning a second National Championship tucked in the back of their minds.
Kent State is 0-9 straight up in its last nine games against a SEC opponent and Georgia owns a 12-0 record in its last 12 home games. The Bulldogs also haven't lost a game in September since 2016. All of the trends and statistics point to another blowout win here, so that's what I'll point to as well.
Final Score Prediction: Kent State: 6 | Georgia: 51

Kent State vs Georgia Best Bet

The Golden Flashes are majorly outmatched here and that is going to lead to one unsuccessful drive after another on Saturday. Combine that with a Georgia offense that is not afraid to lean on the run game and the under looks like a safe bet. After all, it has hit in each of the Bulldogs' last five games.
The under has also hit in five of Kent state's last seven games played in September. If Georgia can get out to another early lead, it's possible Bennett sits for most of the second half and gives way to backup Carson Beck. That doesn't help the chances of a high-scoring affair going down in Athens.
Bet: Under 59.5 Points (-114)
