Josh Allen Gives Update on Hand Injury After Getting Postgame X-Rays

Updated:

The Buffalo Bills were plagued by injury troubles in Week 3, and they ultimately fell short in a close loss to the Miami Dolphins. Potentially adding to Buffalo's health woes was the news that Josh Allen went into the locker room and immediately got X-rays for a hand issue following Sunday's loss.

Allen gave an update on his injury after the game.

The star QB clarified that he's "fine" after Sunday's hard-fought contest. He hit his hand on a helmet/facemask late against the Dolphins, but it didn't appear to cause any damage.

Allen was spotted not wearing any kind of padding or wrap after his scans, which is good news in regards to his hand.

Though this loss will be hard to swallow for Bills fans, getting some great news on Allen's health is a nice consolation. Buffalo's banged-up roster can't afford to take any more losses, especially under center.

Allen very nearly willed the Bills to a win in Miami despite their health problems. He attempted 63 passes, competing 42 throws for 400 yards and 2 TDs while adding another 47 yards on the ground.

Hopefully Week 4 brings some improvements on the injury front for the Bills as they look to bounce back. They'll certainly be tested with a road matchup against the Baltimore Ravens on the docket next. Early NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook peg the Bills as 4-point favorites.
