The Memphis Grizzlies are back in action Sunday as they face the Oklahoma City Thunder. One player's status to keep an eye on ahead of tip-off is Ja Morant, who suffered a hand injury last time out.

Morant is officially listed as doubtful for Sunday's contest. This is no surprise considering Memphis has already locked up the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference for the upcoming playoffs. With this being a meaningless game against the Thunder, expect Morant to sit.

Morant's hand/wrist ailment doesn't appear to be anything major. He initially hurt the area against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday and headed to the locker room, but he was able to return shortly thereafter. The star guard's X-rays also came back negative, so Morant thankfully avoided a serious injury.

With even the chance he's not quite 100%, the Grizzlies will be ultra-cautious with the two-time All-Star. Making sure he's fully ready to go for the postseason is priority No. 1 for Taylor Jenkins and his staff.

Morant appears likely to end his stellar 2022-23 season with averages of 26.2 points, 8.1 assists and 5.9 rebounds per game.

Morant is listed among the top options on the FanDuel DFS slate, checking in with a price tag of $9,700. Since it's extremely likely he sits this one out, managers should make backup plans. Luke Kennard ($5,600) could be the perfect value target with so many of his teammates listed on the injury report.
