Is Giannis Antetokounmpo Playing Tonight? (Latest Injury Updates and News for Bucks vs Celtics on Feb. 14)

Updated:

The Milwaukee Bucks are back in action on Tuesday night as they face the Boston Celtics at 7:30 p.m. ET on TNT. One player's status to keep an eye on ahead of tip-off is Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is dealing with a lingering knee injury.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Injury Update (2/14/2023)

Antetokounmpo popped up on the injury report after Milwaukee's in over the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday with a knee injury. He is listed as probable on Tuesday, though, and is expected to play against the Celtics. Bucks fans have little to worry about here as the injury seems minor, if even notable at all.

The Bucks have been without Antetokounmpo for 11 games during this campaign as he has dealt with various knee injuries. It's been chalked up to the wear and tear of a long season more than a cause for concern, though. The 28-year-old certainly gives it his all every time he is out on the court.

Giannis remains the heart and soul of the Bucks offense as of late. Over his last 10 games, the Greek Freak is averaging an impressive 37.3 points and 13.4 rebounds. He is shooting 54.2% from the floor on the year and is set to be a starter in the NBA All-Star Game for the seventh consecutive season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Fantasy Outlook and Prop Bets Today

Antetokounmpo is listed with over/unders of 33.5 points, 13.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists on Tuesday, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's NBA odds. His rebounds prop lines up as the most enticing option for bettors as the Celtics may be without a couple of top rebounders in Jayson Tatum and Robert Williams. Giannis has posted at least 14 rebounds in three of his last six games, anyways.

Antetokounmpo is the top option on the FanDuel DFS slate tonight, checking in with the most expensive price tag overall ($12,000). That shouldn't come as a major shock considering he is averaging an amazing 56.0 FanDuel fantasy points per game this season. Giannis is a trustworthy anchor in your lineup considering the top spot in the Eastern Conference is on the line tonight.
