The Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors square off in Las Vegas Summer League action on Friday. After opening the tournament with a win, the Heat have now suffered back-to-back losses following a 75-71 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday.

Momentum is heading in the opposite direction for the Raptors, who are buzzing after an 80-74 win against the Utah Jazz that same night. Though it was a team effort, D.J. Wilson paced all Toronto players with 22 points and nine rebounds in 31 minutes of action.

Toronto enters this contest as the slight favorite on the moneyline and spread. This 10 p.m. ET clash also features one of the middle-of-the-pack totals for Friday's slate of games at 170.5.

Heat vs Raptors Prediction & Pick

Even though the Heat only lost by four points to the 76ers, they didn't do much to inspire their fans with optimism. Miami shot an atrocious 27.4% from the field and 16.1% from three-point range, proving that there's a lot they need to work on.

Considering that the Raptors held the Jazz to .367/.233/.818 shooting splits, it's clear that the Heat need a better effort on Friday. Unfortunately, it won't be easy with how well Toronto is playing, especially if the team can continue getting offense from Wilson, Ron Harper Jr. and Christian Koloko.

The Heat haven't done much to show that they can keep up with the Raptors, hence why I'm taking Toronto as the 1.5-point favorite at -115.
