Grizzlies vs. Kings Prediction & Pick
The Grizzlies are struggling as of late, in part due to injuries. Second-leading scorer Desmond Bane is out indefinitely with a toe injury, meanwhile leading scorer Ja Morant missed last contest and is questionable tonight. Overall, Memphis has dropped three of its last four games, with their lone win coming against the lowly Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Kings have the personnel to give the Grizz troubles, especially if Morant is out. Sacramento owns the league's top scoring unit at 121.4 PPG, plays at the sixth-fastest pace, and sits first in offensive rating. This legitamely great offense will be too much for shorthanded Memphis to keep up with.
Final Score Prediction: Grizzlies: 107 | Kings: 123
Grizzlies vs. Kings Best Bet
Jaren Jackson Jr. has returned to the floor for Memphis after missing the team's first 14 games. He draws a tough matchup in the Kings that could limit his production on the boards in his third start of the year. Sacramento's holding teams to the second-fewest RPG (40.0) this season. JJJ isn't known for being a prolific presence on the glass, as evidenced by his career mark of just 5.2 RPG. Jackson hasn't played more than 25 minutes since getting back in the lineup as well, and Memphis will be quick to pull him if this game gets out of hand. He could be very quiet as a rebounder tonight.
Bet: Jaren Jackson Jr. Under 5.5 (-110)
