Golden Tate Throws Shade at Russell Wilson on Twitter After Monday Night Football

Week 6 once again featured former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson struggling in primetime. His poor play clearly held the Denver Broncos back from winning on Monday Night Football, which has only raised more doubts about his status as a franchise player.

A few former Seahawks players haven't been shy to criticize Wilson following his departure from Seattle, and Golden Tate is now the latest to join that list.

Tate made sure to point out that Denver Broncos kicker Brian McManus has scored over half of his team's points this year. He's obviously pointing to Wilson's inability to finish drives with touchdowns here. To make his criticism even more clear, he punctuated his tweet with the hashtag #Letsride, referring to Wilson's now-infamous catchphrase.

Seeing so many former Seahawks come out of the woodwork to chime in on Wilson's play shows there was way more tension beneath the surface than previously thought. These players have clearly not forgotten about the potential special treatment QB1 got during his time in Seattle, and now they're letting him hear it after moving on to what he thought was a greener pasture.

It's safe to say Wilson hasn't done anything to quiet the critics. He's thrown for under 250 yards in four of six games so far, and managed to throw for more than 1 touchdown just once this season. He's simply playing way below the expectations of a $245 million QB.
