George Kittle Has Hilarious Reaction to Christian McCaffrey Trade

Late Thursday night, the San Francisco 49ers and Carolina Panthers agreed to a blockbuster trade that sent superstar running back Christian McCaffrey to the 49ers in exchange for four draft picks. Carolina received a 2nd, 3rd and 4th-round pick in 2023 and a 5th-round pick in 2024.

McCaffrey joins an already impressive skill position group in San Francisco that includes Deebo Samuel Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle. The latter had a funny reaction upon hearing the news his team had acquired McCaffrey.

Kittle obviously thrilled with the trade, adding it was an extra special gift while he was celebrating "National Tight Ends Day," which isn't exactly a national holiday, but clearly one that someone of Kittle's profession pays close attention to.

It will be interesting to see how offensive guru Kyle Shanahan uses the uber athletic and versatile McCaffrey, especially after seeing the work he's done with a similarly talented player in Deebo Samuel.

The 49ers are 2.5-point home underdogs against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
