Full Los Angeles Rams Coaching Staff for Super Bowl 56

The 2021-22 Los Angeles Rams have been one of the best teams in the NFL throughout the regular season, going 12-5 and earning the No. 4 seed in the NFC. The Rams rattled off three impressive playoff victories before setting a Super Bowl 56 date with the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Feb. 13.

Let's dive into the 21-person coaching staff that led Los Angeles to its second Super Bowl appearance in the past four years.

Who is the Rams Head Coach?

Sean McVay is the head coach of the Los Angeles Rams. He took over as head coach of the franchise before the 2017 season, leading the Rams to a 55-26 overall record in 81 career games. It's been an incredible run of success for the league's youngest head coach (age 36) and he's brought the Rams to the playoffs in four of his five years at the helm.

McVay is 6-3 overall in the playoffs and guided his 2018-19 Rams to the Super Bowl. Los Angeles fell, 13-3, to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 53, and Super Bowl 56 marks McVay's second appearance as a head coach.

McVay is regarded a brilliant football mind, evident by his quick rising of the ranks to earn a head coaching job at just 30 years old. Prior to working with the Rams, McVay was an offensive coordinator for the Washington Commanders for three years. He made his NFL coaching debut as an offensive assistant with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2008.

Rams Offensive Coordinator: Kevin O'Connell

Kevin O'Connell is the offensive coordinator for the Los Angels Rams, working in his second season since he was hired by the team on Jan. 16, 2020. O'Connell previously worked as an offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach with the Washington Commanders from 2017-2019.

The Rams offense ranked fifth in the NFL with 273.1 passing yards per game this season, including a dominant season by WR Cooper Kupp - who finished with 145 receptions, 1,947 receiving yards and 16 TDs.

Rams Defensive Coordinator: Raheem Morris

Raheem Morris is in his first year as the Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator. He was hired after a number of seasons in various positions with the Atlanta Falcons from 2015 on, including defensive coordinator, interim head coach and passing game coordinator.
