Updated:
This always unpredictable fantasy season leaves managers scrambling to plug holes created by injuries or underwhelming starters heading into Week 10. Managers also continue dealing with various holes plugged into the roster because of bye weeks. Aside from the big-name waiver wire targets, there's a few under-the-radar players that could be worth rostering as well.
Here are three of the best fantasy football waiver wire sleepers for Week 10.
Waiver Wire Sleepers Week 10
Note: Only players rostered in fewer than 20% of Yahoo! fantasy football leagues are in consideration for this list.
1. Josh Reynolds, WR, Detroit Lions (17% Rostered)
The Detroit Lions' target share is completely up for grabs after T.J. Hockenson's trade to the Minnesota Vikings. That set up a potential breakout performance for wide receiver Josh Reynolds until he was unable to suit up because of injury in Week 9. All that did was push back this breakout. Reynolds ranks a clear third on the team with his 16% target share, while averaging 6 targets and 3.7 receptions per game. Hockenson leaves 16.2% of the Lions' targets unaccounted for, and Reynolds it the main beneficiary outside of Amon-Ra St. Brown.
2. Andy Dalton, QB, New Orleans Saints (15% Rostered)
More injuries to QB Jameis Winston left Andy Dalton with another golden opportunity in New Orleans. He's taken over the starting QB role and while the results have been mixed, Week 10's matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers is a favorable one. The Steelers rank just 21st in Football Outsiders' pass-defense DVOA metric and allow the fourth most fantasy points to opposing QBs this season. Expect Dalton to solve his turnover woes, at least in Week 10.
3. Noah Fant, TE, Seattle Seahawks (10% Rostered)
Noah Fant put fantasy managers on notice with a TE7 finish in Week 9. This included 6 targets, 5 receptions and 96 receiving yards. The veteran tight end continues to build distance between himself and Will Dissly, now holding a favorable 12.3% of the target share. Fant also ran 24 routes compared to Dissly's 14 on Sunday. The Buccaneers are an intriguing matchup. The defense is legit agains the pass and rank fourth sixth in Football Outsiders' pass-defense DVOA metric, but offer an area of weakness over the middle of the field. Tampa Bay allows the eighth most PPR points to opposing TEs.
