FanDuel Fantasy Basketball Picks & Lineup Tonight for 12/13/2022 (Jayson Tatum Could Torch Vulnerable Lakers)

NBA DFS Picks Tonight 12/13/2022

Jayson Tatum Fantasy

Target Jayson Tatum, PF/SF, Boston Celtics ($10,600): Jayson Tatum's numbers have slipped lately, but this is still a player averaging 29.7 points, 8.2 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. Now he draws the perfect matchup to bounce back in the Los Angeles Lakers. LA is surrendering the fifth-most PPG and seventh-most APG, putting Tatum in prime position to feast as Boston's No. 1 initiator on offense. The Lakers also give up the second-most RPG, so Tatum could easily flirt with a triple-double in this one.

Mikal Bridges Fantasy

Target Mikal Bridges, SG/SF, Phoenix Suns ($6,400): Perhaps no one on the Phoenix Suns benefited more from Devin Booker's absence last time out than Mikal Bridges. The wing took on an expected scoring role for Phoenix, tying his second-highest point total (27) of the season while tossing up his most field goal attempts (23) of the campaign so far. Booker is slated to miss Tuesday's matchup against the Houston Rockets, setting Bridges up for another great night against a defense allowing the seventh-most PPG and second-highest effective field goal percentage in the league.

Kevon Looney Fantasy

Target Kevon Looney, PF/C, Golden State Warriors ($4,800): Kevon Looney has been dominant on the boards lately, and he's a great value target if he keeps it up. Looney is averaging a whopping 11.0 RPG over his last five games, which has helped him post at least 29 FanDuel fantasy points in three of those contests. The Bucks are only a middle-of-the-pack in terms of keeping opponents off of the glass, so the Milwaukee native should be able to keep it up in front of his hometown crowd.

Lauri Markkanen Fantasy

Avoid Lauri Markkanen, PF/SF, Utah Jazz ($8,100): Lauri Markkanen has had a terrific rebound year for the Utah Jazz, but he's missed the last three games due to a non-COVID illness. We've seen a number of players struggle in their returns from COVID or non-COVID sickness, like C.J. McCollum recently, who took three games before really looking like himself again. Let the Finnish marksman find his stride again before trusting him in lineups.

De'Aaron Fox Fantasy

Avoid De'Aaron Fox, PG, Sacramento Kings ($8,400): De'Aaron Fox is simply priced too high, even without his injury concerns. Fox has failed to crack even 33 fantasy points in his last four games as he works through a scoring rut. Now he's questionable for Tuesday night afer missing the past two outings with a foot injury. Even if he returns tonight, there's much wiser ways to spend your budget.
