He'll have to fend off a strong field featuring Cup Series contenders like Kyle Larson and William Byron. Kyle Larson is an understandable favorite here, but it's worth noting he is coming off a 30th-place finish at Charlotte. He also finished 20th at Darlington back on May 14, which should be taken into consideration as that track lines up similarly to the one in Madison. It serves as a notable advantage for William Byron.

Byron took home the win at Darlington, which is exactly what Joey Logano did last year before he won the Enjoy Illinois 300. Byron has also captured five straight top-seven finishes and has logged three outright victories on the year. Those are trends that make the pro worth backing on Sunday.

Kyle Busch is a name to keep an eye on Sunday. The 38-year-old led a race-high 66 laps in last year's Enjoy Illinois 300 before he ultimately finished as the runner-up. He finished seventh at Darlington a few weeks ago and is coming off a sixth-place finish at Charlotte last weekend, too. Momentum is on his side, so I'll back a top-three finish at +320 odds as my best bet. It's an option with a great payout.
