Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell is preparing to compete in his fourth career NBA All-Star game. This year's game is taking place in Salt Lake City, UT, the home of Mitchell's former team, the Utah Jazz.

This will be Mitchell's fourth All-Star game appearance, although he did not play in last year's game due to illness. In his previous two games, he's averaged 11.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.0 assists. He also added 3 total steals and 1 block on the defensive end.

His second appearance in 2021 was a much better performance as he put up 15 points in 28 minutes. He only scored 7 points in 14 minutes in his first appearance in 2020.

Donovan Mitchell remains winless at the All-Star Game. He is 0-2 so far. In 2020, he was on Team Giannis, which was narrowly defeated by Team LeBron, 157-155.

In his second All-Star appearance, Mitchell's team lost much more handily. Again as part of Team Durant, Mitchell's squad lost 170-150 and Mitchell himself was -17 in that game.
