Tua Tagovailoa Injury Update

Head coach Mike McDaniels has now confirmed that he will indeed be out again in Week 18 as well. Skylar Thompson will make the start in his place.

The Dolphins are fighting to get back into the playoff race. The team has seemingly collapsed after an 8-3 start, now losers of five straight games. They will need to beat the New York Jets and have the Patriots lose to the Buffalo Bills.

The Dolphins lost Thompson's lone start this season, but they will need a much better perforamnce to get a different result from the rookie signal-caller this time around.

The Dolphins are currently 3-point home favorites in Week 18 against the Jets, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
