Dallas Stars Third Round Playoff Schedule 2023 (Next Opponent, Game Times and Dates for Conference Finals)

Updated:

The Dallas Stars have officially advanced to the third round of the 2023 NHL Playoffs after eliminating the Seattle Kraken in their second-round series. Now the Pacific Division's No. 1 seed prepares for its first conference finals appearance since the 2019-20 campaign.

Here's everything you need to know about the Stars' upcoming third round series.

When Do the Stars Play Next in the NHL Playoffs?

The Stars won't be waiting long for their next game, which takes place on Friday, May 19. This will be the first game of a best-of-seven series with a trip to the Stanley Cup Final on the line.

Who Will the Stars Play in Round 3 of the Playoffs?

As the final remaining team from the Central Division bracket, Dallas will face the Vegas Golden Knights in the Western Conference Finals.

The Stars' third-round matchup will be a typical best-of-seven series that follows the 2-2-1-1-1 format. That means the better seed (Vegas) hosts Games 1 and 2, plus Games 5 and 7 if those are necessary. The worse seed (Dallas) hosts Games 3 and 4, plus Game 6 if that is necessary.

If the Stars beat the Golden Knights, they'll reach the Stanley Cup Final for the first time in three years.
