Dallas Cowboys Training Camp Dates, Schedule & Location 2022

Updated:

Teams across the NFL are preparing to ramp up for the 2022 regular season with the start of training camp. The Dallas Cowboys are one of the last squads to take the field as the preseason nears.

Here's everything Cowboys fans need to know about training camp this year.

When Does Dallas Cowboys Training Camp Start?

Each team has two separate start dates for training camp, as rookies are often required to report a few days before veterans. However, that's not the case for the Cowboys as both the rookies and veterans will begin camp on Tuesday, July 26.

This gives just two weeks to prepare for the team's first preseason game on Aug. 13.

The Cowboys will face the Denver Broncos on the road for their first preseason game before visiting the Los Angeles Chargers on Aug. 20 before hosting the Seattle Seahawks on Aug. 26.

Cowboys Training Camp News

The Cowboys had big plans for linebacker Jabril Cox as a rookie last year, but a torn ACL shut him down for the majority of the 2021 season. However, he's been recovering nicely and revealed at the beginning of the month that he plans on being a full participant in training camp.

A three-time FCS champion, Cox has all the tools to make the Cowboys' defense even more dangerous. If he can bounce back from his injury, a linebacker room that includes himself, Micah Parsons and Leighton Vander Esch could create chaos.
