Cowboys NFC Championship Schedule for 2023 Playoffs (Next Game Date, Time and TV Channel)

Updated:

The Dallas Cowboys are hoping to keep their playoff journey alive in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs this weekend. Mike McCarthy's team enters as slight underdogs against the No. 2 seed San Francisco 49ers, who are one of the most dangerous teams in the NFL on both sides of the ball.

That hasn't stopped some Dallas fans from already looking ahead to a potential NFC Championship Game appearance. Here's everything you need to know about the Cowboys' possible schedule for the next round.

Who Will the Cowboys Play Next in the Playoffs if They Win?

Only four teams remain in the NFC playoffs after Wild Card Weekend. The Cowboys and 49ers will face off in one matchup, while the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles are playing in the other. Should Dallas defeat San Francisco on Sunday, the team would then face the winner of New York-Philadelphia in the conference championship round.

Where Will the NFC Championship Game Be Played 2023?

The NFL has added a new wrinkle to this year's AFC Championship Game, which may be played at a neutral site. It's business as usual in the NFC, though. That means the highest-seeded team remaining will host the conference championship. Since No. 5 Dallas is the second-lowest seed left, the Cowboys will play the NFC Championship on the road if the Eagles win or at home if the Giants are victorious.

Cowboys NFC Championship 2023 Date and Time

The date and time of both conference championship games have already been set prior to the matchups being determined. The NFC Championship will be played on Saturday, Jan. 29, kicking off at 3 p.m. ET and airing on FOX.

The AFC Championship is also scheduled to take place on Sunday, Jan. 29. That game will be broadcast on CBS at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The Super Bowl, meanwhile, is set for Sunday, Feb. 12. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET and air on FOX.
