Week 10 of the 2022 NFL season includes an NFC East Monday Night Football showdown between the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles. Things were looking up for Commanders to end October, winning three straight games before losing, 20-17, to the Minnesota Vikings last week.

The Eagles will be playing this game on 11 days of rest after scoring a 29-17 win over the Houston Texans last Thursday. It was business as usual for Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts, going 21-of-27 in the pocket for 243 passing yards with a pair of touchdowns while picking up 23 rushing yards on nine carries.

The Eagles enter this contest as major favorites on the moneyline and spread on FanDuel Sportsbook's updated odds. This NFC East collision also features a total of 43.5, which is average compared to the Week 10 totals.

Commanders vs Eagles Prediction & Pick

The Commanders should be proud of what they've accomplished over the last month or so, but that ends this week. The Eagles have steamrolled over the competition left and right, defeating much more difficult opponents than Washington.

In fact, Philadelphia already landed a 24-8 win over its NFC East rival back in Week 3. Hurts threw for 340 yards and a trio of TDs en route to the win as the Eagles' defense held the Commanders to 240 total yards, having been kept off the scoreboard altogether until the fourth quarter.

The thing is that game took place on the Commanders' turf. Now, the two rivals will meet at Lincoln Financial Field, where it's always been sunny for the Eagles this season. Philadelphia is 4-0 at home in 2022, scoring the fifth-most points (28.5) while allowing the fourth-fewest (14.5).

With the Commanders owning a bottom-10 road offense (16.5 PPG, eighth-worst), I anticipate things will get ugly here. Look for the Eagles to establish a huge lead early on before cruising to victory.

Final Score Prediction: Eagles: 30 | Commanders: 13

Commanders vs Eagles Betting Trends

- Washington is 2-9 straight up in its last 11 games against Philadelphia.
- Philadelphia is 5-2 against the spread (ATS) in its last seven games.
- The total has hit the under in six of Washington's last seven games.
- The total has hit the over in eight of Philadelphia's last nine home games.

Commanders vs Eagles Best Bet

There hasn't been too much offense in the recent Commanders-Eagles meetings. The last five games in this rivalry have seen an average total of just 38 points, finishing below this week's projection of 43.5 points in three of the last four matchups.

With the Commanders' offense being as bad as it is — especially on the road — I don't have much faith in the over. The Eagles will do most of the heavy lifting, but their defense will practically neutralize their opponents, leading to the under being hit.

Bet: Under 43.5 Points (-106)
