Cincinnati vs Tulane Prediction & Pick
While some conference rivalries are even, that isn't the case here. Cincinnati has won 17 of its last 20 games against Tulane, which includes going 9-2 straight up in the last 11 games played at Fifth Third Arena. The Bearcats will also be more motivated than ever after losing, 68-60, to the Green Wave back in January.
Tulane also shoots the ball a lot worse on the road (41.8%) than it does at home (49.3%). I can see the Green Wave struggling to score against a Cincinnati defense that's kept opponents to 66.0 points on 39.5% shooting at home, even forcing 15.0 turnovers per game during those outings.
With Tulane also losing four of its last five road games and Cincinnati winning eight of its nine outings as the favorite this season, I see another Bearcats victory in the cards tonight.
Final Score Prediction: Cincinnati: 76 | Tulane: 70
Cincinnati vs Tulane Best Bet
As far as the best bet, I'm going with Cincinnati on the spread. The Bearcats have been terrific against the spread (ATS), covering in each of their last seven games overall, as well as their last five at home. The Green Wave have been the complete opposite, going 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games and failing to cover in seven of their last 10 against Cincinnati.
Considering how the Bearcats also have a plus-17.6 scoring margin at home, I'm confident that Cincinnati can cover the 4.5-point spread.
Bet: Under 163.5 Points (-115)
