Chiefs Players Given Cool Surprise at Team's Super Bowl Hotel

The Kansas City Chiefs are back in the Super Bowl, making the franchise's third trip in the last four years when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. This spectacle of an event is nothing new for head coach Andy Reid and his squad.

Making his fourth appearance as a Super Bowl head coach, Reid understands just how far the little things go for the biggest week of his players' respective lives. And after arriving in Arizona on Sunday, the Chiefs were given a cool surprise at the Super Bowl 57 hotel.

NFL insider James Palmer reported on the Chiefs' arrival Sunday, sharing details about a neat measure the franchise took to make the players more comfortable this week. All of the meeting rooms that Kansas City has at their team hotel have been designed "exactly" like their meeting rooms back in Kansas City.

Palmer explained the idea is to make this week feel as normal as possible for every player involved.

This detail may pale not be as crucial as play designs, scheme planning and on-field execution, but it shouldn't be overlooked. Reid and his staff, as much as possible for such an eventful week, understand the need for little things that make the players feel comfortable.

As of Monday, the Chiefs are considered 1.5-point underdogs per Super Bowl 57 odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
