California vs USC Week 10 Game Info
2022 NCAA College Football Game
California Golden Bears (3-5, 1-4 Pac-12) vs. No. 9 USC Trojans (7-1, 5-1 Pac-12)
Date: Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022
Time: 10:30 p.m. ET
Venue: Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum — Los Angeles, CA
Week 10 of the 2022 NCAA college football season includes a Pac-12 rivalry matchup between the California Golden Bears and No. 9 USC Trojans. Things looked promising after California's 3-1 start to the year, only for the team to lose four straight games ahead of this matchup. The Golden Bears' most recent loss was an ugly one as they were blown out, 42-24, by then-No. 8 Oregon last week.
Meanwhile, USC got back on track after its first loss of the season, grabbing a 45-37 road win against Arizona in Week 9. Trojans quarterback Jayden de Laura and wideout Dorian Singer were an unstoppable force en route to the victory, connecting on seven passes for 141 yards and three touchdowns.

California vs USC Prediction & Pick
California's season has gone completely off the rails over the last month. The Golden Bears are now just 1-4 against the Pac-12 this fall and have been held to just 16.8 points over their current four-game losing skid. Any hope of relief is out the window in a road game against USC — the same team that only sits one game out of the conference's top spot due to the Week 7 loss to Utah.
The Trojans also have an attack that I don't think the Golden Bears can handle. USC is tied with Michigan for the sixth-best offense in the nation (41.0 PPG), also averaging an impressive 45.8 PG clip at home (fourth-best). That's not exactly promising for California, having gone 0-3 on the road thus far.
Another thing that makes this USC's game to lose is the program's recent success over its Pac-12 rival. The Trojans are 17-3 straight up in their last 20 games against the Golden Bears, which includes winning 14 consecutive games from 2004 to 2017. California may have won last year's meeting, 24-14, but all that does is give USC a bigger incentive to win this weekend.
Expect Cal's woes to continue as USC picks up yet another victory.
Final Score Prediction: USC: 45 | California: 23

California vs USC Best Bet

Although both schools are heading in opposite directions, I still think that a 21.5-point spread is a bit much. After all, California is a decent 4-4 against the spread this season, while USC has beaten the Golden Bears by 22-plus points just once in the last seven matchups.
I expect USC to win this one decisively, however, it'll be less than what the spread implies.
Bet: California +21.5 (-110)
