Week 11 of the 2022 NCAA college football season includes a MAC rivalry game between the Buffalo Bulls and Central Michigan Chippewas. Buffalo's five-game winning streak came to an end with a 45-24 loss to Ohio last week, so look for the Bulls to try and start this contest on the right foot.

Central Michigan's season has been like a rollercoaster, however, the program has won two of its last three games. That includes a 35-22 victory against Northern Illinois in Week 10, highlighted by backup quarterback Jase Bauer recording 109 rushing yards with a pair of touchdowns on 14 carries.

Buffalo vs Central Michigan Prediction & Pick

It's somewhat of a surprise to see the odds as close as they are for this game. While it can be argued that Central Michigan has more momentum after winning two of its last three games, those victories came against Akron and Northern Illinois, who have a combined 3-15 record this season — hardly teams to brag about beating.

Meanwhile, Buffalo's latest loss was against Ohio, which is now tied for the top spot in the conference. Before that defeat, the Bulls' offense was on fire, averaging 36 PPG over the aforementioned five-game winning streak. Meanwhile, CMU has been held to 24 or fewer points in five of the last six games.

Despite having a losing record against Central Michigan (3-7-0), Buffalo has won each of the last two matchups against its MAC rival by a combined score of 77-44. With the Chippewas leaving a lot to be desired this season, I'm expecting the Bulls to be victorious on the road.

Final Score Prediction: Buffalo: 35 | Central Michigan: 24

With a 1.5-point spread, it's essentially a pick 'em situation in this matchup. I like how Buffalo has played a lot more this season, especially by going 4-1-1 against the spread (ATS) on the road. Meanwhile, Central Michigan hasn't done well in spread betting at home, going 0-3-1 ATS at Kelly/Shorts Stadium.

Back Buffalo covering the 1.5-point spread on Wednesday.

Bet: Buffalo -1.5 (-110)
