Buccaneers Get Massive Boost to Offensive Line Ahead of Wild Card Clash vs Cowboys

Updated:

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are preparing for a home playoff game, in which they find themselves as the underdogs against the visiting Dallas Cowboys. While the oddsmakers might not love the Bucs' chances, Tampa did get a huge boost on the injury front ahead of Monday's contest.

Ryan Jensen Injury Update

The Bucs activated center Ryan Jensen from Injured Reserve on Monday, clearing the way for him to return to the field on Monday.

Jensen will most likely get the start at center against the Cowboys, which is a huge help to an offensive line that is struggling with injuries and depth all over.

Jensen was a pivotal piece of the Buccaneers' offensive line before going down with a torn ACL among other ligaments in his knee.

He had been practicing since December 28, but was cleared for contact on Friday and now looks poised to step back on the field in the biggest game of the year for the Bucs.

Keeping Tom Brady upright and with enough time in the pocket has always been the key to his success. Beating Bracy was always about how much you could get to him in the backfield. Jensen will now help keep Brady on his feet and in a clean pocket.

The Buccaneers are a 2.5-point home underdog against the Cowboys on Monday night, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
