Buccaneers Injury Report Reveals Long List of Inactives Against Ravens

Updated:

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in a precarious spot. The team is under .500 heading into Week 8's Thursday Night Football clash with the Baltimore Ravens and will try to avoid a third straight loss (for the first time in 20 years).

Unfortunately, Tampa Bay will be facing an uphill battle thanks to a lengthy injury report.

The Buccaneers made final decisions on a number of their starters, revealing a long list of inactive players for TNF.

Starting left guard Luke Goedeke, starting strong safety Antoine Winfield Jr., wide receiver Russell Gage, starting cornerback Carlton Davis, backup cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting and starting tight end Cameron Brate are all out against the Ravens.

Both sides of the football will be missing elite talent. This is a trend that's resulted is a pair of dismal performances from Brady's squad. Tampa Bay scored just 21 combined points in the past two weeks and allowed 41 points to the middling Pittsburgh Steelers and Carolina Panthers.

Baltimore's offense is a much tougher test for this beat-up defense. They score the sixth-most points per game in football (26.1).

Even despite the lengthy injury report, the Buccaneers are considered slim 1.5-point favorites per NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
