Best Same-Game Parlay for Hawks vs Heat NBA Play-In Tournament Game (The Stars Shine)

The NBA Play-In Tournament gets underway with an exciting Eastern Conference showdown between the Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat on Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. ET. There's a ton of ways to get in on the betting action, including making your own same-game parlay on FanDuel Sportsbook.

A same-game parlay is exactly what it sounds like. It involves stringing bets from one game together to create a parlay. Of course, all legs must cash in order for the parlay to be deemed a winning ticket. With that in mind, here's a look at my best same-game parlay for the Hawks-Heat NBA matchup.

Leg 1: Trae Young 8+ Assists (-250)

Adding in a safe leg in order to boost the overall odds of a same-game parlay is never a bad idea, which is why backing Trae Young to record at least 8 assists is a great option. Young averaged a reliable 10.5 assists over his final 10 games of the season and has historically played well against the Heat.

In fact, the former Oklahoma standout has tallied at least 8 assists in nine of his last 12 games against Miami. Jimmy Butler is not going to let Young take over the game from a scoring perspective, so back the Atlanta point guard to dish out the ball as much as he can.

Leg 2: Bam Adebayo Under 9.5 Rebounds (-130)

Unlike Trae Young, Bam Adebayo hasn't exactly gotten the best of the Hawks in past matchups. The Miami big man has racked up less than 10 rebounds in six of his last eight matchups against Atlanta. He is also averaging just 7.8 rebounds across his last eight games overall.

The Hawks will have Clint Capela ready to patrol the paint tonight and clean up any misses on either end of the court. That's going to make it tough for Adebayo to make an impact in the rebounding department. After all, Miami checks in below Atlanta in both total rebounding percentage and rebounds per game this season.

Leg 3: Jimmy Butler Over 29.5 Points (+130)

If there's anyone in this matchup not afraid to show up when the lights are the brightest, it is Jimmy Butler. It's worth looking back to the Miami star's 2022 postseason as he logged at least 30 points in eight of his 17 games played. This is an opponent he has already dropped 34 points against back in January as well.

The Hawks are not scary from a defensive perspective as they rank 25th in opponent shooting percentage (48.6%) and 24th in points allowed per away game (118.9). Butler averages 24.2 points per home game this season and has tallied at least 30 points in three of his last six games at the Kaseya Center.
