3 Best Prop Bets for Heat vs Knicks NBA Playoffs Game 2 on May 2 (Brunson Helps Knicks Bounce Back to Even Series)

Updated:

Tuesday's slate of NBA postseason games includes a Game 2 between the Miami Heat and New York Knicks. FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NBA odds list the Knicks as the 6.5-point home favorite with the projected total set at 206.5 points.

Here are three of the best NBA player prop bets for the Heat-Knicks game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Heat vs Knicks Player Props

1. Mitchell Robinson Over 11.5 Rebounds (+100)

Mitchell Robinson has been a monster in the paint for the Knicks of late — both with his rebounding and rim protection. Robinson opened up this series with 14 rebounds in Game 1, but that was not where his rebounding excellence began. He has 18 and 11 rebounds respectively in Games 5 and 4 of the Knicks' first-round series against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Even dating back to the regular season, Robinson ended the year with games of 14, 11,16, and 20 rebounds.

2. Jalen Brunson Top Points Scorer (-105)

Jalen Brunson has kept the New York Knicks afloat these playoffs. He leads the team in points per game, at 24.2, which is by a wide margin, almost 5.5 points per game. With Julius Randle still nursing an ankle injury, one that might hamper him even if he plays in Game 2, Brunson is in a prime position to lead the Knicks again in points on Tuesday. Miami's best player, Jimmy Butler, is dealing with an ankle injury of his own, which could affect his play if he does suit up in Game 2.

3. Gabe Vincent Over 14.5 Points (+100)

Gabe Vincent has been Miami's second-best wing scorer this postseason. He's a versatile guard that can score in multiple ways. He had 20 points in Game 1 of this series at MSG and even closed out the Milwaukee series with 22 points in Game 5. With Butler potentially out, or at least limited, more of the scoring load could fall squarely on Vincent. He's shown he can step up to the plate and elevate his scoring when needed. On Tuesday night, the Heat will need it.
