3 Best Prop Bets for Celtics vs Warriors NBA Finals Game 2 on FanDuel Sportsbook (June 5)

Updated:

The Boston Celtics are looking to take a 2-0 series lead against the Golden State Warriors when Game 2 tips off on Sunday night. Golden State is currently listed as a 4-point favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

But spread bets are far from the only way to wager on this one. Here are three of the best prop bets to target heading into Game 2.

Celtics vs Warriors Player Props Game 2

3. Jayson Tatum - Assists: Over 5.5 (-138)

This line is surprisingly low. Jayson Tatum has taken the next step as a playmaker this postseason, averaging 6.3 assists per game (up from 4.4 in the regular season). He's been particularly dominant in that regard recently, recording 6 or more assists in three of his last four games while averaging 8.0 APG during that stretch. With Golden State trying to do everything in its power to slow him down as a scorer, look for Boston to lean on Tatum's playmaking once again.

2. Jaylen Brown - Points: Under 24.5 (-124)

Betting against a scorer like Jaylen Brown can be scary, but this line is just a tad high. Brown has scored fewer than 25 points in 14 of his 19 playoff appearances, averaging 23.0 PPG in the postseason. Brown is going to get his, but 25 points may be too much to ask of the 25-year-old star.

1. Stephen Curry - Points: Under 27.5 (-106)

Stephen Curry had a remarkable start to the 2022 NBA Finals, scoring a whopping 21 points on 7-of-9 shooting in the first quarter. But Boston held him in check the rest of the way, holding Curry to 13 points on 5-of-16 shooting over the last three quarters. Quite a few of Curry's first-quarter points came on some uncharacteristic miscommunications from Boston's defense, but Curry just couldn't get free once the Celtics' defense locked in. Let's see if that trend holds heading into Game 2.
