Bengals Rule Out One Player for Wild Card Game

Updated:

The Cincinnati Bengals are preparing for a Wild Card Weekend game against their division rival Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

Alex Cappa Injury Update

The Ravens are dealing with a ton of injuries, most impactful is that of starting quarterback Lamar Jackson, who is not expected to play. Hwoever, the Bengals do have some injuries of their own. Offensive lineman Alex Cappa has already been ruled out for Sunday's contest.

Cappa is a key piece along the Bengals' offensive line, starting and playing in 16 games for Cincinnati this season. While the offensive line isn't exactly a strength for the Bengals, Missing Cappa will severely hurt the unit's depth. Without him, the Bengals line could struggle to protect Joe Burrow or get Joe Mixon and the running game going against a Ravens defense that averaged the fifth-most sacks per game in the NFL this season.

All this taken into consideration, the Bengals are big 9.5-point home favorites against the Ravens on Sunday, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
