Bengals Linebacker Publicly Calls Out Coaches With Foolish Tweet

Updated:

The Cincinnati Bengals are rolling. Cincinnati is on an impressive five-game winning streak and looks like a serious Super Bowl contender once again. Suprisingly, that doesn't mean every single member of the team is happy.

Linebacker Germaine Pratt took to Twitter following Cincinnati's Week 14 win to share some public criticism of the coaching staff with one foolish tweet.

Pratt voiced his displeasure with the 3rd down play calling and his lack of involvement in third down schemes.

The story took on a new twist Monday when one Twitter account mentioned Pratt deleted all of the Bengals related material from his Instagram account. That much is confirmed.

Pratt's recent social media activity is certainly notable. Considering how he's playing out the final year of his rookie deal, though, this could all be a bargaining technique to make sure he gets the deal he wants from the Bengals (or someone else) in free agency.

The team is finally looking like a powerhouse after average football throughout the early stretch of the year. Cincinnati has a clear path towards winning the AFC North and should easily be in the Super Bowl coverstation once again. For example, the Bengals hold the sixth-best odds (+1000) to win Super Bowl 57 on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Even if Pratt is displeased with his reps and the play calling, that's a situation that should be handled in-house and not all over social media.
