The Belmont Spring/Summer Meet continues on Thursday with 9 races, including four maiden races. Post time is 3:00 p.m. ET from Belmont Park. Get in the game with mobile betting on FanDuel Sportsbook.

As always, check the program for scratches and changes, check the weather and keep an eye on the track conditions.

(I will reference Equibase's Speed Figure in selected races, which tells you how fast a horse has been running in each of its races -- adjusted for track, distances, and conditions).

Belmont Park Betting Picks

Check out the biggest stakes races ahead at Belmont Park, including the June 10 Belmont Stakes.

According to numberFire horse racing projections and Guaranteed Tip Sheet, these are some of the best bets to make at FanDuel Racing today. The best value option will not necessarily be the top pick(s).

FanDuel Racing's May 19 picks at Pimlico went 3-for-3 and produced an 11/1 winner on Taxed in the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes that also paid $190 on a $2 exacta bet. The May 26 picks at Belmont produced two top play winners, but both as favorites. On Sat., May 27 at Belmont, FanDuel Racing top picks went 3-for-3 including a $2 exacta payoff for $89 in Race 9.

1. Captain Party and Dreampoint, Race 4

FanDuel Racing Odds: 3/1 and 9/2

Race 4 is a Maiden Special Weight for NY-breds going 7 furlongs on the turf. The numberFire top picks are Dreampoint (9/2) and Captain Party (3/1), and Guaranteed Tip Sheet makes Captain Party a best bet. Lt. Mitchell (9/2) is also projected to finish in-the-money with the meets top jockey Jose Ortiz riding for the meets leading trainer, Linda Rice.

Captain Party is a 3-year-old gelding who has come from well off the pace in both his starts. He finished 3rd in each race and now comes back off a race three weeks ago with expected improvement. Dreampoint makes his 26th start as a 5-year-old and finished a close 3rd three weeks ago with a better speed figure (80) than the others.

2. Slipstream and Cees Get Degrees, Race 8

FanDuel Racing Odds: 8/1 and 2/1

Race 8 is a featured Allowance race for older horses sprinting 6 furlongs on the turf. The numberFire algorithm projects Heaven Street (7/2) to get to the wire first ahead of longer shots Comedy Town (8/1) and Slipstream (8/1).

Guaranteed Tip Sheet likes Cees Get Degrees (2/1) to win with top jockey Irad Ortiz, Jr. riding. He's finished in-the-money in three straight races on dirt including a win two weeks ago at Pimlico with one of his best speed figures (104). Now he tries the turf with speed on his side.

Slipstream was good enough to win a Grade 1 race in 2021, and now finds better health with his third straight race since March and a better group to cash-in against.

3. One Headlight and Ferris Muler, Race 9

FanDuel Racing Odds: 4/5 and 8/1

Race 9 is Maiden Special Weight for state-breds going 1 1/8 miles on the turf. One Headlight (4/5) is the heavy favorite in the 10-horse field, and top pick of both GTS and numberFire with the top jockey/trainer combo of Irad Ortiz, Jr. and Todd Pletcher.

One Headlight was un-raced as a 2-year-old and now makes his third straight start since April and has finished runner-up in both races at low odds and is the favorite to break through.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
