According to numberFire horse racing projections and Guaranteed Tip Sheet, these are some of the best bets to make at FanDuel Racing today.

1. U Should B Dancing and Queens Masterpiece, Race 6

Race 6 is a competitive group of 12 NY-bred fillies and mares sprinting 6 furlongs on the inner turf. The numberFire data projects two longshots to challenge for the win - Masterof The Tunes (12/1) and U Should B Dancing (12/1). Masterof The Tunes will have to draw into the race off the alternate list.

U Should B Dancing hit the board here last summer in three straight races including a win and 92 speed figure. She missed the board last month in her 2023 debut and should improve second off the layoff.

Queens Masterpiece (15/1) is a bigger longshot to consider for your Exacta and Trifecta bets. Her turf pedigree here is less obvious, though she is by good turf sprint influence Munnings. She’s got a big, floating stride that looks like it should transfer well to the grass.

2. General Banker and Gem Mint Ten, Race 7

FanDuel Racing Odds: 6/1 and 6/1

Race 7 is an Allowance race for NY-breds going 1-mile on the turf. Battle Scars (7/2) is the horse to beat dropping down from state-bred company. General Banker (6/1) is one to add at a better price.

General Banker was better on turf during his 2-year-old season, and he's improving and gets first time Lasix. He hit the board in a pair of Grade 3 races on dirt this spring. The one-turn mile seems ideal, and can move forward on grass. Gem Mint Ten (6/1) moved forward last month and won switching to turf while striding out strong in the finish at 6 furlongs. Added distance makes sense now facing winners for the first time.

3. Dr B and Caramel Swirl, Race 8

FanDuel Racing Odds: 9/5 and 8/1

Race 8 is the $175,000 Grade 3 Vagrancy Stakes for older fillies and mares at 6 1/2 furlongs. The numberFire algorithm and Guaranteed Tip Sheet both peg the two favorites as top win contenders - Caramel Swirl (2/1) and Dr B (5/2).

Dr B is ridden by top jockey Irad Ortiz, Jr. She makes her 2023 debut having finished 1st or 2nd in five straight starts since last summer, including a wire-to-wire win in a Grade 3 in December, going 1-mile and posting a smashing career-best 115 speed figure.
