Alabama Softball World Series Schedule 2023 (Next Opponent, Game Times and Dates)

Updated:

The Alabama Crimson Tide are officially in the women's College World Series after advancing past the regional and super regional rounds. Now Patrick Murphy's team will look to continue their run all the way to a title.

Here's everything you need to know about Alabama's schedule for the 2023 softball World Series.

What Seed is Alabama in the 2023 Softball World Series?

Alabama earned the No. 5 overall seed for the 2023 women's NCAA softball tournament after going a fantastic 45-20 during the season. The SEC contenders then won three of their four games to advance past the regional round, and the Crimson Tide took down the Northwestern Wildcats in two of three contests in the super regionals to punch their ticket.

Who Does Alabama Play Next in the Softball World Series?

The 5-seed Alabama Crimson Tide will play the 4-seed Tennessee Volunteers in their first game of the softball World Series. The winner of that contest then faces the winner of Oklahoma vs. Stanford in the second stage of the World Series. The loser, meanwhile, heads to the losers' bracket and would be eliminated if they suffer a second loss at any point before the finals.

Alabama's cleanest path to making the women's College World Series Finals is winning three straight games without any losses. That would guarantee the Crimson Tide a spot in the finals, which is a best-of-three series.
