This week it's the fourth edition of the 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities North of Minneapolis. The 7,431 yard Par 71 Arnold Palmer-designed parkland course has water in play on 15 holes and is among the easiest putting greens on Tour. Tons of birdies and low scores are in the forecast.

Svensson is a short hitter, but still ranks top-30 on Tour in birdie average. He finished T-6 last week in the Barracuda Championship after opening with a 62. He's a solid ball striker in good form who has put together four straight top-25 finishes since mid-June with very solid tee-to-green, off-the-tee and and much-improved putting performances.

Off his best ball striking performance of the year last week, Svensson could rise up as a dark horse this week. A top-10 (+410) finish would not be a surprise with top-20 (+190) and smaller percentage win bet in play.
