Aaron Rodgers on TNF Means Great Things for Packers Historically

Updated:
The Green Bay Packers take on the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football tonight. With Green Bay coming off a tough loss to the division-rival Minnesota Vikings, the Packers need a bounce-back win tonight.
Thankfully, they have Aaron Rodgers. And he has been flat-out dominant throughout his career when playing on Thursday night.
In 14 career Thursday Night Football appearances, Rodgers has thrown 29 touchdowns to only 5 interceptions. He had also led his team to a stellar 9-5 record in such games while posting a 9-4-1 record against the spread (ATS).
With Green Bay currently listed as a 7-point favorite in FanDuel Sportsbook's Week 9 odds, this trend suggests the Packers could be looking at a victory of at least 7 points tonight. And it certainly doesn't hurt that San Francisco is coming into this one incredibly shorthanded, playing without stars like George Kittle, Jimmy Garoppolo, Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk, just to name a few.
Look for Rodgers to get some revenge on the team that knocked him out of the playoffs last year.
