49ers NFC Championship Schedule for 2023 Playoffs (Next Game Date, Time and TV Channel)

Updated:

The San Francisco 49ers are looking to keep their playoff journey alive in the Divisional Round. Kyle Shanahan's team escaped with a gritty win over the No. 5 seed Dallas Cowboys after both teams grabbed wins in the Wild Card Round.

That hasn't stopped some San Francisco fans from already looking ahead to a potential NFC Championship Game appearance. Here's everything you need to know about the 49ers' possible schedule for the next round.

Who Will the 49ers Play Next in the Playoffs if They Win?

Only four teams remain in the NFC playoffs after Wild Card Weekend. The 49ers and Cowboys will face off in one matchup, while the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles are playing in the other. Should San Francisco defeat Dallas on Sunday, the team would then face the winner of Philly-New York in the conference championship round.

The 49ers advanced to an NFC Championship matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Where Will the NFC Championship Game Be Played 2023?

The NFL has added a new wrinkle to this year's AFC Championship Game, which may be played at a neutral site. It's business as usual in the NFC, though. That means the highest-seeded team remaining will host the conference championship. With the No. 1 Eagles in play, the 49ers will travel across the country because Philadelphia advanced.

49ers NFC Championship 2023 Date and Time

The date and time of both conference championship games have already been set prior to the matchups being determined. The NFC Championship will be played on Saturday, Jan. 29, kicking off at 3 p.m. ET and airing on FOX.

The AFC Championship is also scheduled to take place on Sunday, Jan. 29. That game will be broadcast on CBS at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The Super Bowl, meanwhile, is set for Sunday, Feb. 12. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET and air on FOX.
