Beyond the favorites are a number of dark horses who offer more value as capable contenders at the 2022 Barbasol Championship.

With longshots in mind, here are three dark horses that could make a run at the Barbasol Championship leaderboard and come away with the trophy on Sunday.

2022 Barbasol Championship Dark Horse Picks

1. Michael Gligic (+4500)

Michael Gligic is fresh off his best finish of the season, No. 10 at the John Deere Classic. He was brilliant through every round of action, notching sub-70 scores in Rounds 1-4. The Keene Trace course has featured winners with 20-under-par or better finishes in the past three years, leaving no room for error to top this year's leaderboard.

2. Jim Herman (+6500)

Jim Herman has missed the cut in 11 of his 17 tournaments this season. But, he's made our dark horse picks because of his history at Keene Trace. Herman won this event, on this course, back in 2019 with a record 26-under-par. Momentum may not be on his side, but Herman will feel comfortable lacing up in Kentucky this weekend.

3. Julien Brun (+5000)

Julien Brun has been one of the most consistent players on the European Tour in 2022, notching seven top-30 performances. Five of those came in the first six tournaments of the season. He went through mid-season struggles before a No. 30 finish at the Horizon Irish Open last weekend. With distance not playing a major factor, back one of the better ball strikers on the European Tour (No. 5 for Greens in Regulation).
