3 Best Prop Bets for Heat vs Warriors on Oct. 27 (Klay Thompson Breaks Out of Slump)

3 Best Prop Bets for Heat vs Warriors on Oct. 27 (Klay Thompson Breaks Out of Slump)

Updated:

The 2022-23 NBA season is in full swing with another four matchups set for action on Thursday. One of those battles features the Miami Heat (2-3) and Golden State Warriors (2-2) in an inter-conference showdown.

Here are three of the best prop bets for this Heat-Warriors game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook's NBA odds.

Heat vs Warriors Player Props

1. Klay Thompson - Points: Over 15.5 (-125)

Klay Thompson has struggled recently, averaging just five points over his last two games after averaging 17 in the first two. Though the Heat have one of the best defenses in the league, Thompson has hit the over on this prop in all but one of his last 11 outings against Miami. While those games happened pre-injury, the Heat are allowing the sixth-most three-pointers on the 10th-most attempts this season. With Thompson averaging seven three-pointers this season, I see the conditions being right for him to get back on track. Throw in a couple of mid-range shots with a free throw or two and I can see Thompson hitting the over.

2. Bam Adebayo - Rebounds: Under 9.5 (-136)

One of the better center's in the NBA, Bam Adabeyo hasn't been putting up huge rebounding numbers just yet. He's averaging 8.4 boards per game (his fewest since 2018-19), failing to reach double-digit numbers in four of five games so far. Furthermore, the Warriors have held Adebayo to an average of just 7.3 rebounds in the last three meetings. Now that Golden State has the likes of Kevon Looney, James Wiseman and Draymond Green to defend the frontcourt, it could be a long night for Adebayo as far as rebounding totals go. Back the under here.

3. Stephen Curry - Player Pts + Ast: Over 31.5 (-122)

Even at the age of 34, Stephen Curry continues to be one of the most dominant players in the game. The three-time NBA Champion is averaging 30.3 points and 5.3 assists this season, putting him in a prime position to hit the over on this prop. For starters, Curry has already hit the over on this combo in three games so far this season, only failing to do so in his last outing. Even then, he wasn't too far off with 21 points and eight helpers. If that's not convincing enough, Curry has surpassed the total on this prop in 10 of his last 15 games against the Heat. With the Warriors, once again, heavily leaning on their best player, taking the over is the right call to make.
