3 Best Prop Bets for Warriors vs Lakers on March 5 (Draymond Green Makes Impact on Boards)

3 Best Prop Bets for Warriors vs Lakers on March 5 (Draymond Green Makes Impact on Boards)

The Golden State Warriors will aim to win their sixth straight game when they visit the Los Angeles Lakers at 3:30 p.m. ET inside Crypto.com Arena today. Stephen Curry is expected to make his return from a leg injury, joining a star-studded matchup that includes Anthony Davis and Klay Thompson.

Here are three of the best prop bets for the Warriors-Lakers game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook's NBA odds.

Warriors-Lakers Player Props

1. Draymond Green - Rebounds: Over 6.5 (-134)

The return of Stephen Curry should help Draymond Green continue his recent success around the rim. The former Michigan State standout can position himself around the rim in order to grab offensive rebounds and kick the ball out for three-pointers. Green has logged at least 7 rebounds in four of his last seven games overall as well as in three of his last five games against the Lakers. LA presents as an advantageous matchup here as it gives up 53.6 rebounds per game (No. 27 in NBA) and an opponent defensive rebounding percentage of 77.8% (No. 24 in NBA). Expect Green to get the job done with an impressive performance on the boards today.

2. Malik Beasley - Assists: Under 2.5 (-134)

Malik Beasley has been a volume shooter more than anything else since joining the Lakers at the trade deadline. He has tallied more than 2 assists in just one of his eight games with LA and is usually positioned along the perimeter, which limits his opportunity to dish the ball out. It's worth mentioning that Beasley has played against the Warriors 22 times in his career and only averages 0.8 assists in those games. Golden State ranks right in the middle of the pack in terms of assists allowed per game on the season but ranks fourth in that category over its last three games (21.7). Look for Dennis Schroder to remain the main distributor on offense for LA.

3. Jordan Poole - Points: Under 22.5 (-115)

While Curry's return helps Green on the boards, it hurts Jordan Poole's chances of balling out with a big scoring effort. Poole is averaging only 17.5 points per game on a 44.1% shooting percentage across 38 games with Curry on the floor this season. Poole logged just 16 points in his most recent game against the Lakers and struggled to overcome their aggressive perimeter defense (2-of-7 from deep). LA allows an opponent three-point shooting percentage of only 34.5% (No. 3 in NBA), which is where Poole makes his mark on the stat sheet. All signs point to a subpar performance from the fourth-year pro today.
