3 Best Prop Bets for Lakers vs Bucks on Dec. 2 (LeBron James Balls Out in Milwaukee)
Two of the best players in the NBA meet head-to-head on Friday night as LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers go on the road to face Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.
Here are three of the best prop bets for the Lakers-Bucks game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook's NBA odds.
Lakers vs Bucks Player Props
1. LeBron James - Points: Over 25.5 (-102)
Every NBA fan knows that LeBron James turns it up another notch during the biggest games of the year. He is coming off a 31-point performance on Wednesday night and has a perfect opportunity to replicate that success in Milwaukee. James averages a reliable 28.7 points against the Bucks in his career and has logged at least 26 points in seven of his last eight games against them. Milwaukee has played shutdown defense around the rim this year, but ranks outside the top 12 NBA teams in opponent three-point shooting percentage. That's interesting to note given James drained 6 three-pointers in his last game. Look for the 18-time All-Star to hit just enough jump shots to cash this over.
2. Jrue Holiday - Assists: Over 6.5 (+100)
It's worth taking a shot on the over for Jrue Holiday's assists mark at plus odds on Friday night. The Lakers play at the third-fastest pace in the NBA, which means Milwaukee is going to see more possessions than usual. More possessions means more opportunities for Holiday to find his open teammates. Los Angeles also allows 26.1 assists per game overall (No. 21 in NBA) and 10.1 assists per game to opposing point guards (No. 29 in NBA). Holiday has logged at least 7 assists in four of his last six games against the Lakers and will have the basketball in his hands a ton in this game. This is a prop that could cash before the fourth quarter.
3. Anthony Davis - Points, Rebounds and Assists: Under 37.5 (-111)
There's no denying that Anthony Davis has been playing his best basketball of the season over the last two weeks. This is simply a nightmare matchup for him, though. The Bucks allow the fewest points in the paint per game (44.8), give up the fourth-lowest opponent offensive rebounding percentage (21.4%) and grant only 3.3 assists per game to opposing centers (No. 8 in NBA). Davis hasn't had much luck against the Bucks as of late, either, posting less than 37 points, rebounds and assists in each of his last three games against them. Giannis has the size as well as the talent to meet Davis at the rim time and time again on Friday night, which should cause for some constant frustration.
