Washington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson has been dealing with a shoulder injury that he picked up after Week 1. It didn't prevent him from playing against the New York Giants, though the injury has made him limited in practice this week.

The latest on Gibson is great news for WFT.

Head coach Ron Rivera said on Friday that Gibson will be "good to go" for Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills. It's clear the team was just being cautious by limiting his practice reps, and the injury doesn't seem to be anything that will hold him back.

Gibson saw his usage drop off in Week 2, playing in 61% of the team's snaps after seeing 65% in Week 1. He was still productive, turning 13 carries into 69 yards. However, J.D. McKissic was the preferred option in the passing game and even turned a goal-line touch into a score.

After more than a week between games, Gibson is in a great position to bounce back and expand his role against the Buffalo Bills. Washington is a 7-point underdog ahead of that matchup, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
