After two dominant wins, the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs will meet in Super Bowl LIV. Both teams were 7.5-point favorites in their respective conference championship games, but this one looks like it'll be a little closer, with the Chiefs currently being 1.5-point favorites over the 49ers.

With Kansas City opening as the favorite, it should come as no surprise that Patrick Mahomes is currently favored to win the Super Bowl LIV MVP award.

Odds to Win Super Bowl MVP

Following Mahomes, Jimmy Garoppolo checks in with the next-best odds to win the award at +240. Quarterbacks have won seven of the last 10 Super Bowl MVP award, though wide receiver Julian Edelman took home the hardware last season.

Interestingly, three of the top-four players in the odds to win the Super Bowl LIV MVP award are on the 49ers, with Raheem Mostert available at +750 and George Kittle at +1700.

Travis Kelce (+1500) is fifth in the odds, and the next-closest Chief is Tyreek Hill (+2800). In other words, if the Chiefs end up winning the Super Bowl, the odds certainly suggest Mahomes is going to be named MVP.

Meanwhile, the first defensive player to make an appearance on this list is Nick Bosa, who is all the way down at +4100 to win the award.

Somewhat surprisingly, defenders have won the MVP award in two of the last five seasons, suggesting there could be some value on Bosa, or someone like Tyrann Mathieu (+5500).
