GENIE BONITA (11) was a determined winner two runs back then raced on the speed last time before finishing third over 7 ½f at Urawa. Terrific chance to return to the winners' list. NITTO SUNNY (9) was in contention all the way and fought on for third last start over 7f at this track, making it two minor placings in a row. Should camp just off the leaders. Finds a suitable race and can make it to the winner's circle. YASAKA SOLEIL (6) has been racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Urawa over 7f. Expected to run well again. SILVER GINJI (3) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on January 3, finishing eighth and beaten 5 lengths over 7f at this track. Makes plenty of appeal.
