Verdict

BRAVE WASP (1) resumes with a solid Albany trial behind him and brings the strongest overall ratings profile, including one win and two placings from four starts at the distance. His last-campaign CL3 and NMW1Y runs read well enough for this, especially as he was not beaten far despite racing from the rear. NAILED'EM (2) is the race-fit danger, third-up, back to 5f and already a winner at this track and trip, though he did tire after leading at Belmont Park. AUTOFOCUS (8) has to lift on two plain CL2 runs before the break, but she has trialled recently and her best is good enough to be a place factor. DOLCE MASCHINO (5) has first-time blinkers and an easy Albany trial win to offset a modest opening campaign, so improvement fresh would not surprise. BRAZEN BID (3) can resume on a similar note to how he left off last campaign.
