Verdict

AURORA QUEEN (3) flew home from the back of the pack to score in a photo finish at Pinjarra last time out on the Scarpside circuit. Draws an inside barrier now for the first time in a while and that should see her closer in the run. CJP makes the trip to ride and she makes plenty of appeal. DIABLO LAD (1) just missed over 7 ½f here last time out, ending up 0.6L at this track. He should get every chance from the inside barrier and Faithfull sticking is a big tick. Can go a couple better without surprising. GREAT DEAL (2) is better than he showed last time out and looks well placed coming back to this trip. He's placed in 3/5 at this track and trip and he can bounce back to his best now. WIN TO RETIRE (5) is right in this if she can bring her best form. BIT TIRED ACTUALLY (4) disappointed last start when out in trip but won her maiden here two back. Expecting a return to form today.

Aurora Queen silk

Most recently came home strongly from last on the turn and won by a nose at Pinjarra Scarpside Cl1 April 15 over 1m defeating Alabrae carrying 122lbs at $8.50. The run before that from last on the turn second last of 9 at Ascot Cl1 on April 3 over 7f, 4 len behind Moonwalk carrying 123lbs at $17. Flew home to score lasts tart and there's no reason why she can't repeat the dose.
