Verdict

OUR NAUGHTY SECRET (4) settled out the back before finishing off impressively first-up over 5f. Out in trip now looks to suit and she should be able to sit a touch closer from the draw. Ticks plenty of boxes second-up and can raise the bar now. FANTAXTIC (3) was too good here last start in this grade, landing midfield and getting over the top to score by 1.4L. He went into that without a trial and Watson remains in the saddle as he joins the Hunter barn. Can improve again now and looks the main danger. MAGICASH (2) has been disappointing so far this campaign but this looks a suitable race for improvement. The inside draw is a big tick and the 4lbs claim of Nottle comes in handy. Can sit handy to the speed and it wouldn't surprise to see her bounce back. SANCTIONS (7) comes back to country grade today and should be storming home late in the race. CRUISE TO RIO (1) comes here without a trial after 334 days off but she is a classy type. Keep safe fresh.
