Thomas Pieters Masters Prediction 2023

Thomas Pieters had logged six top-10 finishes in 49 PGA Tour tournaments before he opted to leave for LIV Golf this past summer. The Belgium native has since gone on to post a top-40 finish in each of the three invitationals. That includes tying for 16th at the LIV Golf Invitational in Orlando last week.

Pieters' experience at Augusta fails to compare to his PGA Tour statistics overall. He has played at Augusta three times prior to 2023, only making the cut in his debut attempt back in 2017. Two missed cuts in a row shine a light on how Pieters has lacked success when it comes to performing in majors.

Keep in mind Pieter's best win of his career came at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, which was over a year ago. His little momentum is overshadowed by the fact that he is surrounded by players with much more experience at Augusta. Not even a top-40 finish (-110) is enticing enough to jump on.
