The Dodgers continued making fools of the Mets' batters yesterday, picking up a 5-1 victory in Queens. Mookie Betts recorded four hits with a homer and an RBI in four at-bats as five Los Angeles pitchers held New York's batters to three hits and a trio of walks without anything to show for it.

Dodgers vs Mets Prediction & Pick

The Dodgers' dominance of the Mets at Citi Field this weekend isn't anything new. Los Angeles has now won 16 of its last 19 games played in Queens, outscoring New York 108-47 on aggregate along the way.

Bobby Miller is the starting pitcher tasked with helping the Dodgers continue that success. The good news is that Miller has actually been better on the road than at home this season. In three away starts, the Elk Grove Village, IL native is 3-0 with a 2.12 ERA and 1.020 WHIP.

Although the Mets' Max Scherzer has much more experience than his counterpart, he's been shaky as of late. Scherzer has surrendered nine runs on 11 hits over his last two appearances, giving him a 7.36 ERA during that span. He's also winless in his last three starts against the Dodgers.

I predict that the Dodgers will complete the sweep tonight. Momentum is firmly on their side with the way the series has gone while their Citi Field dominance can't be ignored. With the Mets also scoring just four total runs during their four-game skid, it's clear that this is the Dodgers' game to lose.

Final Score Prediction: Dodgers: 5 | Mets: 2

Dodgers vs Mets Best Bet

I'm going with Bobby Miller recording over 4.5 strikeouts for the game's best bet. The Dodgers rookie is not only averaging 8.6 strikeouts per nine innings this season, but he's also finished with the Over on this prop four times in his last six starts.

Miller now gets to face the Mets, who've struck out an average of 10.6 times over the last five games. Considering how poorly New York's bats have performed this series, Miller won't struggle to make good on this prop bet.

Bet: Bobby Miller — Strikeouts: Over 4.5 (-106)
