The New Orleans Breakers locked down the No. 2 seed in the South with a dominant 17-6 win over the Tampa Bay Bandits last week. Head coach Larry Fedora stressed that he isn't looking past their next opponent in any way, though. He told reporters that “we want to win the football game.”

On the other side, the Houston Gamblers are on a high after snapping a seven-game losing streak with a 17-16 upset win over the Birmingham Stallions in Week 9. They'll look to build off that positive energy after recording a safety, an interception and two sacks on defense.

Oddsmakers have the Breakers slated as 3-point favorites in this game and that shouldn't come as a major surprise. New Orleans ranks ahead of Houston in almost every offensive statistic and the Gamblers have yet to win a single home game this season. As for the total, it lines up perfectly considering both of these teams average at least 19.5 points per game.

Breakers vs Gamblers Betting Trends

- Favorites have gone 27-9 straight up during the 2022 USFL season.
- New Orleans is 6-3 against the spread (ATS) in its last nine games.
- Houston is 4-5 against the spread (ATS) in its last nine games.
- The total has hit the under in 13 of the USFL's 19 games this season with a total set at 40+ points.

Much like the other USFL games in Week 10, the point total has the most value from a betting perspective here. Yes, both teams average more than 19.5 points per game. However, New Orleans has scored a total of 26 points over the last two weeks and Houston has scored 20. Add in the fact that a backup quarterback may be playing and the under looks like a safe bet.
