Home Run Props

Mookie Betts To Hit a Home Run (+460)

As usual, the Los Angeles Dodgers have a big 4.69 implied run total and will likely get there via the long ball.

With power all throughout their lineup, the Dodgers will always have several options to consider for home runs on a nightly basis. Tonight, we turn to Mookie Betts, who is off to a fantastic start this season and has great odds for a home run.

Betts comes in with a 207 wRC+, .465 wOBA, .239 ISO, 51.3% fly-ball rate, and 34.6% hard-contact rate versus right-handed pitchers. He's beyond elite and can go deep in essentially any matchup.

Tonight, he's up against Edward Cabrera, who struggled last season versus righties with .419 SLG, 0.82 HR/9, 4.94 xFIP, 34.5% fly-ball rate, and 36.3% hard-contact rate.

It's an awesome matchup all around so I'll add, Betts To Record an RBI (+160), too.

Ryan Jeffers To Hit a Home Run (+500)

With a nice bit of wind blowing out to left field, the Minnesota Twins could see the ball flying tonight.

Extra wind is always a plus for hitters and when we have a fly ball pitcher in that game, it's a recipe for some homers.

That pitcher is Emerson Hancock of the Seattle Mariners, who is struggling this season versus right-handed hitters with a .600 SLG, .402 wOBA, 4.32 xFIP, 2.93 HR/9, 47.9% fly-ball rate, and 39.6% hard-contact rate.

Those are some juicy numbers to target and it brings me to Ryan Jeffers, who is rocking a 169 wRC+, .407 wOBA, .289 ISO, 35.5% hard-contact rate, and 35.5% fly-ball rate against righty pitchers.

That type of power will always put Jeffers in play for the long ball, so I'll add Jeffers To Record an RBI (+170), too.

Gunnar Henderson To Hit a Home Run (+310)

As an MVP-caliber hitter, we can always look to Gunnar Henderson for some power.

Henderson has exploded onto the MLB scene over the last two seasons and he brings an elite skill set to the plate. This year, Henderson is carrying a 155 wRC+, .386 wOBA, .309 ISO, 36.1% fly-ball rate, and 50.8% hard-contact rate versus right-handed pitchers.

We have seen 7 of his 10 home runs come in this split, making it the clear spot to target tonight. He will be up against Trevor Williams, who got blasted by lefties last year with a .509 SLG, 5.75 xFIP, 1.74 HR/9, 41.7% fly-ball rate, and 31.4% hard-contact rate.

Hendeson is a far better hitter than Williams is a pitcher, making this a lopsided matchup primed for a home run.
